Miracle's Road to Recovery
What an incredible journey Miracle has had! Back in August, this little angel was cruelly dumped in the woods by her owners, who simply opened the car door and tossed her out like she meant nothing. For three long weeks, Miracle fought to survive on her own, evading capture by caring animal control who desperately tried to bring her to safety. The day she was finally saved marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life!
When she arrived at our rescue, Miracle weighed only 18 pounds and bore a horrific eye and shoulder injury from being hit by a car during her time on the run. It was heartbreaking to see such a sweet soul in such dire condition. But we were determined to help! After rushing her to our vet, we learned that surgery was necessary for both her shoulder and eye injuries.
Over the following weeks, we watched in awe as this brave girl slowly gained weight and began healing—both physically and emotionally. Despite being surrounded by our lovable old geezers at the farm (who weren't too keen on playing with her!), Miracle thrived with care and love.
. To help her channel that energy positively, we decided to enroll her in doggy daycare and training. It’s been amazing to see how she has transformed—she’s made many doggy friends and learned some much-needed manners
She is most likely mixed with Blue Heeler or Cattle dog. Both breeds are known for their extremely zealous disposition. Our girl Mira needs a special home. She is missing a eye but that does not stop her. Mira is eager to play and be active! Mira is dog selective. Mira must have a home that will continue with her training and vigorous Daily exercise. Miracle needs a rigorous dose of daily activities to support her energetic life. Less of exercise will lead to her becoming an excessive barker with a destructive personality. A fenced yard is ideal for Mira. When she first came into her foster home she suffered from separation anxiety from being abandoned and alone in the woods. Initially struggling with separation anxiety (who could blame her?), Mira has made tremendous progress thanks to doggy daycare and training. Her separation anxiety has significantly improved as well; Her separation anxiety is better with daily exercise. She is sweet and affectionate. Mira is very smart. She is up to date on all shots and spayed. No small children. This girl has energy on top of energy! Lol She is crate trained and housebroken on a schedule. ACTIVE HOME*******
